MEET KRAKEN THE 1ST / SCUBADRONE MODEL 01
Extraordinary underwater shots. Full-size cinema cameras. An experienced remote-vehicle crew, operating entirely from the surface.
01 / A DIFFERENT KIND OF CAMERA MOVE
From the surface. Into the deep. In one shot.
Start close to a subject at the surface. Pull back, then descend into the depths in one fluid move. Kraken combines travel, depth and rotation in ways that are almost impossible or impractical with a diver-operated camera.
KRAKEN IN MOTION / FORWARD. BACK. UP. DOWN. SIDEWAYS. ROTATION.
02 / CREATIVE FREEDOM. PRACTICAL ADVANTAGES.
Less between you and the image.
KRAKEN IN ACTION / THRUSTERS MAINTAINING VERTICAL POSITION
01 No bubbles. Just the frame.
No diver behind the camera means no exhaust drifting through your shot.
02 Keep the camera down.
Surface-supplied camera power allows all-day shooting without battery swaps or surfacing.
03 Ready in under an hour.
Move from a new setup to shooting in under an hour, rather than the long preparation of traditional underwater camera teams.
04 Follow the idea. In every axis.
Forward, back, up, down, sideways and rotation. Combine movements into a single fluid camera path.
KRAKEN IN MOTION / MOVEMENT STUDY
03 / YOUR CAMERA. OUR UNDERWATER WORLD.
Cinema-grade images. Familiar control.

Cinema cameras in gimbal format, including the ARRI Alexa line, Sony Venice and similar systems. For stills, practically any camera — up to large format. We confirm the camera and lens configuration with your production.
Our camera assistant takes focus.
Our camera assistant operates focus, iris and zoom remotely from the surface, working with your cinematographer as on a land set.
Three specialists. One seamless shot.
Every shoot includes our three-person crew, experienced in drones and remotely operated vehicles: a pilot to fly Kraken, a camera assistant to pull focus, and a cable manager to launch and recover the drone and keep the umbilical out of frame throughout the take.

Camera setups up to approximately 43 cm. Compatibility depends on the shape and configuration of the camera and lens package.
SDI output to video village. An SDI feed from the ground station integrates with production monitoring, just like a camera on a land set.
Underwater audio system. Relay action cues and directions to performers underwater from the surface.
Dimensions & weight: to be confirmed. Camera and lens compatibility reviewed per production.

The vertical reveal
Pull away from a subject at the waterline and descend into a vast underwater frame.
The submerged tracking shot
Travel alongside a performer with lateral movement and no diver’s bubbles behind the lens.
The underwater orbit
Combine translation and rotation to move around a subject and change the perspective in one take.
